Experience the thrill of riding the waves with dolphins & whales racing & diving along the bow! There are three main species of dolphins that visit Gibraltar: the Common Dolphin, Striped Dolphin and the Bottle-Nosed Dolphin.

They are capable of diving to a depth of 280 metres and staying underwater without breathing for up to 8 minutes.  They can swim at speeds of up to 40 mph and live for around 25 years in the wild but for only up to 6 years in captivity.  During a dolphin safari, you are likely to encounter other sea creatures such as sea turtles, flying fish and  garfish. 

Gibraltar is also visited by many migratory Humpback whales, Sperm whales and even Killer whales.  Other whales often sighted include Minky whales, False Killer whales and Long Fin Pilot whales.
