Website easy to use and our booking was made very quickly. We have used this firm before and have always found them to be efficient and very helpful.

I tried to pay the deposit for the hotel 4 times by debit card but because I live in Spain it wouldn't accept the post code so kept cancelling and taking me back to the booking page. I then tried to pay the deposit via paypal but it would only show the full amount and not just the deposit.
Company - Good
I started an online chat the following morning explaining the problems above and the person who answered was very helpful and took the deposit and emailed the confirmation.

As you mentioned, this was unfortunately due to the way that our secure system (we use Barclays 3D) could not accept payment with incomplete address details. I am, however, pleased to hear that your query was ultimately quickly and efficiently resolved following your conversation with one of our team members.

Just to confirm I had entered my full billing address for my debit card - the error that kept coming up was about the post code. I can only presume that your website is only geared up for UK addresses and not foreign addresses.
The Paypal link also needs to be addressed as I had clearly checked the Deposit option but it only showed the full payment on Paypal.

It is not so much the website that has a problem with non-UK addresses but rather the merchant system that we use to process payments. Nonetheless, it is important that this is addressed. The same goes for Paypal of course and this is something else that we will be looking into.

I made a reservation but then I received no reply or confirmation. I had to insist several times before I got a response and eventually the reservation was found and my booking was confirmed. It was worrying for a while to have paid for something and to have no reference or confirmation.

The 'My Gibraltar' website could not send messages to my e-mail address which is in full working order receiving about ten messages a day. This caused considerable concern as although my payment had been taken it took some days before I had any confirmation of the booking. Landline calls were sympathetically received, but the consequent hard copies did not arrive as promptly as suggested. The booking itself was correct. Bruce Cryer
